Phat Chance could be the prototype for how a Christian band should find teen success. Step one: form a band with your pals at High School. Step two: find a mentor to help you hone your skills and finally sign to a record company who will help you record a killer pop debut. Although there are five boys in the band, Phat Chance don't really fall into the 'boy band 'category. They play all their own instruments and write their own songs and this album is crammed with catchy, poppy hooks. Songs like Give You Everything show that Phat Chance can rock, but they seem more comfortable on melodic pop rock like All Comes Down and the pure pop of Sunshine Daylight and Just A Little which are fun. Thematically, they cover plenty of ground, from sexual abstinence to devotion to God. Good looking, good music and plenty of talent, Phat Chance are a band on the way up.
