Who writes the songs you sing?

Martin, Stu g and Jon come up with the bulk of the material then we work on them together in the studio.

What was the inspiration for your new album?

There was much inspiration but the theme of Mission comes through strong. There’s a feeling of not giving up, being in for the long haul etc...

Why is the band called Delirious?

It means to be wildly excited about something and that’s how we feel about our music and our faith.

What are your favourite Bible verses?

Matthew 5,6 and 7: the Sermon on the Mount.

What did you do before joining Delirious?

I was an electrician and a session guitar player

How did you get together?

The band started at a youth event called Cutting Edge. Martin was writing songs inspired by this event and it just sort of happened!

What has been the best moment for you as a band?

This would be different for every one of us, but the day we went top 20 with Deeperwas a great moment.

How did you each become Christians?

I was brought up in a Christian home but didn’t commit fully until my 20s. I went to see Phil Keaggy in concert and there was an evangelist there. My wife and I were blown away with that event and also the lives of the friends we stayed with, and became Christians that weekend.

How do you like to spend time relaxing?

I love playing golf and walking my dog on the beach.

What is the best Christmas present you all have ever received?

I got a garden slide as a boy and that was great! I ripped my pyjamas first time down it.

What projects do you hope to get involved with in the future?

More Delirious? projects and I simply love writing songs and playing guitar.
