• When did you first start singing?
Four years old at a talent concert at school with a song about a dog.

• Why did you choose to become a Christian artist when you had a chance to become a secular artist?
I wanted to sing about what’s in my heart. When I say Jesus, it does something to me.

• What do you hope to achieve through your music?
To get people to realise that you need to be in a church..

• How do you come up with new ideas for your songs?
By the Holy Spirit inspired with suffering.

• How have you found the transition between working in Britain from working only in Africa?
Different, but God is enlarging my heart capacity for people! Essential.

• Will you be touring in Britain anytime?
If God wants me to.

Sarah McLachlan – to sing with her.

Another album and friendships!

• When did your relationship with God begin?
I was 10, sitting on a mountain and I saw the sunset. I knew it was something bigger – Jesus.

• How do you keep your focus on God while you are working?
Preparing in quiet times; quiet times give me focus and the knowledge that my strength is from God.

• Have you got any words of encouragement for single young women?
God is our husband, He is with us so don’t be afraid. Be of good courage.
